NORWOOD,
(Veinot) Betty Gertrude
Fern - 90, Baker Settlement peacefully lost her 9 year battle with
Alzheimers in the Palliative Care Unit at the North Queen’s
Nursing Home, Caledonia on the 7th day of
January, 2012. She will be deeply missed by family, friends and those
who cared for her at the nursing home since December 31, 2002. She
will forever be in our hearts. Betty was the daughter of the late
Howard and Etta (Garber) Veinot. She is survived by her loving son,
Tony and wife, Donna, Baker Settlement and granddaughter, Angela,
Wileville. She was predeceased by husband, Guy; sisters, Ethel, Laura,
Adelia (D.D.), and Olive. Visitation 7-9pm Tuesday in R. A. Corkum
Funeral Home, Wileville. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Union
Church of Baker Settlement. Reverend Eric Campbell officiating.
Interment in Baker Settlement Cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial
