KEVIN EDWARD MAILMAN
February 12, 1959- June 1, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin Edward Mailman of Colpton, NS on June 1, 2026 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, with his family by his side.

Kevin was born in Bridgewater to the late Howard and Lena Mailman.

Kevin was a Jack of all trades from electronic technician, silver culture, and carpentry. At age 50 he went back to NSCC where he graduated as a Certified Continuing Care Assistant in November 2009. He worked with Lunenburg County Home Support until his retirement.

Kevin was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and spending his time outside.
Kevin also enjoyed doing woodwork projects which were unique and creative and especially designed for the recipients. He loved to play drums and could be heard many a Saturday night jammin’ in his back yard barn.
He also enjoyed the companionship of our beloved Whiskey Boy.

Kevin is survived by his wife Bernice, his sons Timothy and Justin, his grandchildren Kyson and Jayda, his sister Iris Mansfield as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews,

A special thank you to the staff of the South Shore Regional Hospital for all the wonderful care he received on his numerous stays.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. A private graveside service to follow at a later date. Donations may be made in Kevin’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, LungNSPEI, or SHAID Tree Animal Shelter.
