It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Laraine Nancy Harmon, who left us peacefully on May 4, 2026, at the age of 85.

Born on August 14, 1940, in Rhode Island, Laraine was a woman of deep faith, guided by her strong spiritual beliefs and a genuine love for others. Known for her kindness and generosity, she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her, and she gave freely of her time, love, and support.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family, who were the center of her world.

Laraine had a deep love for baking, attending coffee hour, and going to church. She had a special way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and generosity, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 8 at 1:00 p.m. in R. A. Corkum Funeral Home in Wileville, Reverend Willis Ott officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
