Crouse, Pauline Ruth – It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Pauline Ruth Crouse, born October 1, 1950, who passed peacefully at Ryan Hall on March 17, 2026, in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
Pauline was the beloved daughter of the late Reta Irene Whynot and Harold Elliott Oickle. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Beverly Jean Hubley. She carried their strength, kindness, and resilience throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
A strong and independent woman, Pauline was a dedicated truck driver who proudly co- owned and operated an18-wheeler and business. She was known as a skilled and confident driver, embracing the open road with determination and pride.
She is survived by her devoted partner, Murray Crouse, two sons, Jim and Keith Crouse; her daughters, Kathy (Rick) Merry and Jenny (Wendall) Greek; her sisters, Elsie Ramey, who was not only her sister but her best friend and Susan Faustman; and her cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Morgan, Krystal, and Emily, and four great-children.
Pauline had a vibrant spirit and a love for life that was felt by all who knew her. She loved being surrounded by people, enjoying music and dancing, and in her later years found joy and peace in painting. She adored her pets and held them close to her heart. With many dear friends and a natural warmth, Pauline had a special gift, she could light up any room she entered and make everyone feel welcome.
Her presence was a steady and loving one, and her memory will be forever cherished by all who were blessed to know her.
A joint funeral service to celebrate the lives of Beverly Jean Hubley and her sister, Pauline Ruth Crouse, will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at R.A Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville with interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. A shared celebration of their lives will take place at the Flourish 55+ Centre, located behind the curling club on Dominion Street, Bridgewater.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline’s memory to the Parkinson Society.
