Hatt, Shirley Belle (Carr)

Age 90 Passed away peacefully at South Shore Regional Hospital on January 1, 2025. She lived in Bridgewater at Drumlin Hills but was in the process of moving to her previous home in, LaBelle, Queens Co. She was born in Greenmount P.E.I. She was the Daughter of the late Reverend John A and Alberta M (Grey) Carr.

Shirley loved her family.She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed being at the lake, going to church, spending time with family and friends, baking, animals and much more. Shirley spent most of her life caring for others. She always had a smile for those near.

Survived by daughters, Dianne (Kevin) Corkum, Carol Hatt (Richard) Oickle: 7 Grandchildren, Christopher, Dwayne, Angela, Carrie, Katrina, Timothy, & Lee: 15 great grandchildren, Ty, Tegan, Kinsley, Kyla, Tessa, Kashton, Jacob, Nathaniel, Emmett, Madison, Jaden, Lexi, Greyson, Elliot and Brooklyn; also granddaughter my marriage, Lily and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by husband Bruce, son Wayne, daughter Linda, sister Faye, brother Jack.

A Memorial Service will be held at R. A. Corkum Funeral Home, 2719 Hwy 325 Wileville on January 10, 2025 at 3 pm. Reception following at Wileville Fire Hall. Interment at a later date. Donations may be made to Bridgewater Baptist Church, Milton Christian Church, The Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Shaid Animal Shelter or SPCA.
