PEACH, Harlen Travis, age 83, of Bridgewater, passed away
July 24, 2024 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in
Liverpool, he was the son of the late Reta Peach. He was married to
his loving wife Laverne (Smith) Peach for 58 years and together they
had two children, Kevin Peach and David Ross Peach.
Throughout his working life, he worked many years at Caledonia
Woodworkers until he retired. Years later he moved to Bridgewater from
Caledonia and at that point, he met the second love of his life,
Molly, and she wagged her tail every time she saw him. She was his
whole world. They enjoyed going on daily drives together. Harlen made
many friends who he thought the world of. He was a very funny man- he
made people laugh wherever he visited. He took great pride in being a
husband, father, grandfather and he will be dearly missed by his
family and friends.
He is survived by son Kevin Peach
(Tammy); grandson Jeremy Smith; great grandchildren Jackson, Maxwell
and Hannah; sister Dianne (Theadore) Smith, of South Brookfield. He
was predeceased by his wife Laverne; son David Ross Peach; siblings
Atley and Bruce.
Graveside service for family and friends
will be held at 2pm on Monday July 29, 2024 in South Brookfield
Cemetery, Pastor Richard Moore officiating. Family flowers only, by
request. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation.
