Virginia Elizabeth Corkum- 90, of East LaHave, passed away July 10, 2024 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lunenburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Beulah (Zinck) Fralic.
She was a very kind, generous and friendly person. She enjoyed baking very much and enjoyed giving it away just as much. Her chair at the kitchen table was the best place for her to enjoy watching the birds. Virginia was an avid Danielle Steel novel reader. She loved to knit, and spent a lot of time doing making socks. When she thought her stock was large enough, she would donate them. All in all, she was a great mom, a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother, and a better friend and a good listener, and she will be missed very much.

Surviving are her daughters Gail Corkum, Lynn Huntley (Wayne); son Paul (Crystal Fox-Jones-Corkum); grandchildren Captain Edward Hebb (Tammy), Elizabeth Fordham (Nathan), Sarah Sparkman (Michael); great-grandchildren Matthew, Oliver, Mya Hebb, Lucas, Benjamin, Alena Fordham, Braddock, Madeleine Sparkham; Cousin John Lowe., two sister in laws, Eva Dares and Betty Hubley, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Allison.

Family Graveside service will be held at 11am on Tuesday August 27, 2024 in Creek Hill Cemetery, East LaHave, Pastor Doug Mailman officiating.
