FANCY, Beatrice Evelyn -106 of Pleasant River, Queens County, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024 in Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg. Born in Colpton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Heim) Colp.

Beatrice was a dedicated member of Trinity United Church, Pleasant River and the Pleasant River Community Club.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, affectionately known by her grandchildren as "Grammie". She was an avid knitter, baker and an amazing cook. Spending time with her family was her biggest joy.

Surviving are her son Owen Fancy (Heather); daughter Sharon Selig (Marty); brother Simeon Colp; grandchildren Michelle Nickerson (Tim), Owen Fancy "Jr.", Neil Fancy, Matthew Selig (Jessica), Aimee Fancy (Gavin), Sarah Tompkins (Kyle), Alyssa Fancy (Anthony), Kyle Cushing (Stephanie); great-grandchildren Sydney, Samantha, Christian, Adrian, Carter, Morgan, Tatum, Dallas, Deacon, Lucas, Whyatt, Mason, Beau and Emery; great-great-grandchild Phoebe; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Arthur; Sons Charles and Phillip; twelve siblings, Harris, Frances, Joseph, Bessie, William, Gertrude, Jean, Bertha, Ernest, Norman, Walter, Lillian; grandchild Caterina.

Funeral service will be held 1:00pm Friday. Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, both in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, Rev. David Lutes Officiating. Interment will follow the service in Lakeview Cemetery, Pleasant River. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to Lakeview Cemetery, Pleasant River.
