           Scott Ryan Zwicker
February 23rd, 1980 ~ May 11th, 2024

It is with profound sadness and disbelief that we announce the unexpected & sudden passing of our only son Scott Ryan Zwicker age 44, at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Scott our beloved son was a huge fan of hockey, always rooting for the Toronto Maples Leafs to bring home the Stanley Cup and always somewhat disappointed when they failed to secure it! But appreciated the game, nonetheless. He was an avid fisher, he would love getting together with friends for a day of fishing, chewing the fat and telling fishing tales from years before.

His one First Responder who was trying to keep Scott alert during his crisis asked him if she could tell him a fishing story! Scott’s response was "sure I’d love to hear it." She began with "Well, Scott, the other day I went fishing and would you believe that I caught a four-foot fish?" Scott tried to giggle and reply with "Geez!! And I had a hard time fighting to catch an 11 inch one." and grinned!! She then asks Scott if he believed her and he happily replied "hmmm, No I think that’s a bunch of BS", the first responder replied back with "yea you’re right that was complete BS I knew you would call me on that!" Scott would call it as he heard it.

In his younger years Scott became a member of 4H which he was a member for roughly 11 years where he made numerous craft items, along with his membership in 4H he was also a member of sea cadets where he was an active member until the age of 19. Scott was a kind hearted person always willing to help others out no matter his circumstances, if he had to give, it was yours. He would have gladly given you the shirt off his back if you needed it more than himself. Scott was not only kind but goofy, he loved to tell jokes and make others laugh which when he did it was infectious, and you couldn’t help but to laugh along with him.

Scott was a lover of music, he enjoyed 80’s country classics and a few older artists such as Randy Travis, Conway Twitty, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks and Travis Tritt just to name a few. He loved spending time listening to his favorite country songs with friends.

Scott had been an employee of Dexters where he worked in construction and previously worked traffic control jobs for such companies as Direct traffic and Safety First.

Scott is survived and deeply missed by his loving parents Rodney (Camperdown), Mother Ann and common law partner Rodney Silver (Springfield). He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Scott was predeceased by Maternal grandparents Josephe Edward Brown & Barbara Marie Brown, Aunt Dorothy Brown, Uncle Gregory Brown. Paternal Grandparents Newton Zwicker, Mildred Zwicker, Uncle Martin Zwicker, Aunt Isabell Zwicker, cousins Kerri Crouse and Spencer Beck.

Scott’s legacy of kindness, his love of fishing and of the game of hockey will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held on Friday May 24th, 2024, 1pm at R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, Reverend Willis Ott officiating. The burial will take place at Brookside Cemetery immediately following the service. Reception to follow burial, at 1043 King Street, Bridgewater.
