Wagner, Peter Allan, 67, of Barss Corner passed away unexpectedly on April 18th, 2024.

Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Leo and Alice Wagner, Peter lived a life filled with passion and adventure. His love for the great outdoors was evident from a young age as he spent countless hours hunting in the woods and fishing in the rivers near his home. His skill and expertise in these pursuits were matched only by his boundless enthusiasm and zest for life.

Peter was not only known for his love of hunting, fishing and the Montreal Canadiens, but also for his vibrant personality and infectious laughter. A true life of the party, he had a gift for bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Whether it was swapping stories around a campfire or sharing a meal with friends and family, Peter had a way of making every moment memorable.

Peter was a loving partner and cherished father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren Tyler and Norah. He is survived by his daughter Sue Ellen Murphy (Sean), Hammonds Plains, son Scott, Barss Corner, loving partner Anne Joudrey, Barss Corner, grandchildren Tyler and Norah Murphy, siblings Verna Hall (predeceased by John), Lillian Peeples (Wes), Willard (Veronica), Terry (Geraldine) and Betty Veinot (Mervin). He was predeceased by his wife Charmaine.

A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Peter’s honour. Though he may be gone, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Peter will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace. In the words of Jimmy Buffett, "Keep the party going!"
