PENTZ, Monica Vera, 101 of LaHave passed away on April 8, 2024 at Laurel’s Lake Residence, Dartmouth. Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late Emma Berthalee (Julian) and the late Frances Constantine Penny.

During her life between 1922 and 2024, Monica touched many lives. She was a teacher and a high school principal for decades. She enjoyed new hobbies during her long retirement. She especially loved her garden, home, friends and family.

Monica is survived by her son Brian Graydon (Sharon), Dartmouth. She was predeceased by her husband, Everett Winston; her daughter Heather-Anne; and her three brothers, Douglas, Oscar and John.

By request, there will be no visitation. A graveside committal service will take place at Fort Point Cemetery, LaHave, NS. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where on-line condolences may be made by visiting www.corkumfuneralhome.ca
