Peggy Lea Mosher - dedicated wife, mother, sister, and friend - passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 27, 2024.

Peggy was born to Bruce and Glenda (Hall) Wentzell in Saint John, New Brunswick on March 5, 1964. Peggy called many places home throughout her childhood.

She graduated from Yarmouth High School in 1982 before attending Business College in Halifax. Peggy started her 30+ year career in banking, working at various banks including BMO, Continental, Hong Kong and TD Bank, but more recently Peggy enjoyed her work as a resident care worker at Lohnes Rest Home until her retirement.

Through the years, Peggy enjoyed curling and figure skating in her early days. She was an enthusiastic supporter and a dedicated cheerleader for her daughters and the various clubs to which they belonged, including 4H, track & field, basketball and attended all of the public speaking events. Her kindness and caring ways for people made others feel like they were part of her family. As a new grandmother of Oaklyn, Peggy was a devoted "Nannie" and enjoyed morning coffee dates with her little sweetie.

Dear to her heart was her dog Timothy who truly became one of her best friends after receiving radiation treatments. You could find them enjoying a good fudge stick and watching Peggy’s favourite shows. The happiest of times were spent with family and friends, especially at the family cottage on Crooked Lake. Peggy loved to laugh and share the occasional sarcastic comment. She will never leave our hearts.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Brenton; daughters, Alana (Tristan) Richards, Shubenacadie; Lori Mosher, Hemford; granddaughter, Oaklyn; and loving sister, Debbie Wentzell, Bridgewater.

The family would like to thank Peggy’s medical team, Dr. Fiodar Kuznetsov and staff at South Shore Regional, Dr. Arik Drucker and staff & Laura Paul, NP who were all involved in the incredible care received during her journey.

A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held March 9, 2024 from 2:00-4:00pm at the Best Western Bridgewater. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
Donations may be made to The Lodge That Gives (5826 South St, Halifax, NS B3H 1S6).

Cremation has taken place under the direction of R. A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where on-line condolences may be made by visiting www.corkumfuneralhome.ca
