DIMMELL, Hope Eveline – 85 of Lower Cornwall, Lunenburg County, died December 3rd, 2023, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Middle Cornwall, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Maizie Dimmell, Cornwall. She was a member of the Baptist Church, Middle New Cornwall.

In her earlier years she worked at Kerr’s Restaurant and the Sea Breeze Restaurant. She then went on to work very hard on the farm with her partner in life. She enjoyed many things during her years from going to dances, jams, drives, trips to New Brunswick with her cousins, camping, going out for coffee, going to church, doing her word finds, taking photos, listening to music, outings with Jean Spidle and Claudia Nauss the 3 amigos just to list just a few. If anyone needed a hand she never hesitated to be there to help and guide you through any situation. She enjoyed her many weekends throughout her years with her sisters whom she talked with almost every day. Her greatest joy was raising her children and then her grandchildren.

She loved and supported her family through every part of their life. She passed on so many great qualities to her family and was the most patient, strongest, kindest, caring, supportive, hard working positive person anyone could ever meet and she was famous for her hugs. She never had a bad thing to say about anyone and didn’t complain no matter what was happening in her life. She never wanted a fuss made of her and was always so thankful for everything anyone ever did whether it was for her or someone else. We could go on and on but her family were the luckiest family around because she was our mom, nanny, sister, daughter and most of all our best friend. You could just feel the love being in her presence. She truly was the purest soul.

Survived by daughter Joanie Fogg (Charles), Lower Cornwall; sons Malcolm (Lisa) Hubley, Conquerall Mills; George Hubley, Lower Cornwall, grandchildren Justin Fogg, Saskatchewan; Dylan Fogg (Brittany T), Mader’s Cove; Logan Fogg, Cornwall; Taylor Fogg (Craig E), sisters Mabel Beaver, Fancy Lake; Sandra Eisnor, Upper Cornwall; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by common law partner Earl Hubley, son Claude Dimmell, sister Janet Martel, parents Murray and Maizie Dimmell, step mother Marion Dimmell, brother in laws Sylvo Martel, Maurice Beaver and Clinton Eisnor.
