Andrew Peter Barkhouse (Mr. Wonderful) 85 of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully on November 8, 2023 at Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater, with his daughter and granddaughter by his side. Born on March 4, 1938 in Martins Point, he was the son of the late William and Emily (Miller) Barkhouse.
Andy’s most recent occupation would have been Andy’s Buy and Sell in Mahone Bay. Andy was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He will be remembered for having a funny and comical personality. He was so full of life and he had such a passion for music that he himself played the guitar. He enjoyed music jams and travelling.
 
He is survived by his daughter Lisa Barkhouse; son Peter Barkhouse, granddaughter Tanya Acker(Nathan);  great grand children Hannah Acker, Holden Acker; brother Eric (Beatrice) Barkhouse; sister Betty also family friend and Pastor James Haughn.
He was predeceased by his brothers Robbie, Walter, Charles, David, Paul, Ervin, Lindsay; sisters Nellie, Grace, Rose, Dora, Joyce and Velma
