WINTERS, Byron Mason, 82, of Bridgewater passed away on January 15, 2023 in Queen’s General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Brookfield Mines, he was a son of the late Harold and Edna (McBride) Winters.

Byron worked for Bowater Mersey for over 30 years and he was a volunteer with North Queens Search and Rescue. We can’t forget the love and joy for his mother-in-law Marjorie Robar. They were partners or opponents in any card game, especially crib. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Queen’s General Hospital and home care workers Lisa and Ashley.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Gloria (Robar); son Neil, Halifax; daughters Lesia (Steve), Tantallon; Robin Moore (Matthew), Cayman Islands; grandchildren Robyn West, Halifax, Michael West, Tantallon; brothers Tom (Velda), Alliston Ontario, Bernard, Chatham Ontario, many nieces and nephews, friends and family. He was predeceased by sister-in-laws Brenda and Dianne Winters, Ontario.
