It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our
precious son, David Alexander Edgar on July 18th, 2021. He was born on
December 30, 1995 in Edinburgh, Scotland, and with his family
emigrated to Canada in 1997. David grew up in Nova Scotia, where he
developed his artistic creativity.
David was a student of
NSCAD University in Halifax, NS. He would have graduated in May 2022
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. He was a gifted
photographer and writer, and we will treasure his beautiful
photographs for years to come. David was loyal, sensitive, kind,
intelligent, loving, creative and funny. He was passionate about his
art and wanted to find a career where he could make use of his gifts.
David's name means "beloved" and he certainly was loved by
his family and friends. He will be sorely missed.

survived by his parents, Sandy and Marina Edgar, his sisters Jennifer
Edgar (Dan Johnson) and Janet Colon (Bryce Colon), his brother Robert,
his grandmothers Mary Edgar and Margaret MacPhee, and his uncle Mark
