It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Linda Drake at 10:37 on 21st June 2021, at the South Shore Regional Hospital. Linda was accompanied by loved ones during this sad time.
Linda was the daughter of the late Frank F. Sr. and Katie A. (Zwicker) Barkhouse of Martins Point.
Linda was employed for several years at the Halifax Infirmary Hospital in association with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
Linda is survived by her loving husband and soul mate of 49 years, Stanley G. Drake, Martins River, and her son Stanley S. and Tracy (Hughes) Drake, Durham North Carolina. She is also survived by her sister Mavis Thornhill,  brothers Sydney (Shirley), John (Caroline), Thomas (Elaine) and sisters-in-law Sandra and Paulette, also many nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her brothers Frank F. Jr (Jackie), Lewis W., and brother-in-law Richard (Dick) Thornhill.

Linda was always a kind hearted lady who emitted a warm, friendly glow to all that had known her and now she is a bright star that lights our evening sky.
