It is with deep sadness that the family of Marjorie Alice Jack, 92, announce her passing on May 4, 2020 in Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Auburndale, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Hilda (Wagner) Barkhouse. Marjorie was a very active person with many friends. She was a very dedicated member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in many facets. She was also a member of Bridgewater Seniors Club. She worked for many years at Zellers and later at LaHave Stationers. In her leisure time she enjoyed camping by the ocean, especially at The Ovens Park. Marjorie is survived by sons Charles, Ottawa and Brian of Bridgewater; siblings Ron (Donna) Barkhouse, Gloria (Bill) Fancy and sister-in-law Norma Scott; several nieces and nephews. She especially enjoyed her time with her niece Heather who was like the daughter she never had. She was predeceased by her first husband Eber Rafuse, and second husband Essen Jack; brothers Donald Edward in infancy and Ralph Allen Barkhouse.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no service at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
