, Frank Ronald - 90, Bridgewater, Passed away February 23,
2015 in Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg.. Born in
Middleton, he was a son of the Late Norman and Alma (Banks) Burbidge.
He was a Veteran of the Royal Canadian Artillery, he also worked at C
N Rail, Halifax and C P Rail, Chalk River, ON. He was a member of the
Telephone Pioneers. He enjoyed retirement as an avid golfer and a
driver for Bridgewater Senior Wheels. Surviving are his sons Donald
(Louise), Gatineau, Quebec, Wayne (Deborah), Windsor Junction;
brothers, Aubrey, Yarmouth, Karl, Brickton; sisters, Hazel,
Bridgetown, Kathleen, Brickton; grandchildren, Janet, Norman, Garth,
Margaret Ann, Sara, Nicholas, Philip; great-grandchildren, Alexis and
Brandon; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife,
Marjorie Elsa (King); sons, Gordon and Reginald; brothers, Ervin,
Burpee, Ralph, Arnold, Charles, Stanley, Stewart, sisters, Clare, Elva
and Minnie. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorial
Service 1:30 P.M. Tuesday in Bridgewater United Church. Reverend David
Campbell officiating. A reception in the church hall will follow the
service. Interment will be held at a later date. Immediate family
flowers only. Memorial Donations may be made to the charity of choice.
