Cheryl - 55 Chelsea. It is with great sadness that we announce her passing on Monday, September 15th , 2014 in Hillside Pines Home for Special Care in Bridgewater. Born in Caledonia, Queen’s County, she was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt and great aunt. She spent her early years working for Rafuse Equipment. Her two loves aside from her family, were her horses and music. Cheryl bravely struggled with Multiple Sclerosis for many years, spending the past nine years as a resident of Hillside Pines, where she enjoyed her visits with family and friends, as well as participating in activities with the other residents. Cheryl leaves behind her loving husband of 24 years, Barry, as well as her mother, Edwina (Douglas) Faulkner who cared for her at home as long as they were able. Her immediate family included her sister, Jane (Wade) Joudrey; nephews Adam (Leslie) Joudrey, Blair (Allison) Joudrey and great-nephews Landon and Austin Joudrey. She was predeceased by her father, Randolph Faulkner. She was also loved and survived by her Hillside Pines family, many in-laws, cousins, aunts and uncles. Visitation 7-9pm Wednesday in R. A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18th in Chelsea United Baptist Church, followed by a private family committal in Maple Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to greet the family following the committal at the Chelsea Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Atlantic Division or Hillside Pines, Home for Special Care, Bridgewater.
