, Frank William - 82 of Oakhill, passed away June 16, 2013 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the Late Reginald and Mary Purcell. Our father was very proud to be an active Community member volunteering with the Lions Club and many other organizations. But most proudest, was that dad was the primary caregiver to us children at a time when men were not expected to. Most appreciated is the stubborn streak that we inherited that has served us well and sometimes has made us humble once in a while. Dad was always supportive for whatever adventure we went on. Even after retiring from the car business for 35 years, we all decided to open a small dream, the Platterhouse Restaurant. We will miss you smiles, stories, and humor and will always, always miss you very much. Surviving are his daughter Colleen Baker (Randy); son Colin. He was predeceased by his brother Roy. Visitation will be 7-9pm Wednesday with a Lions Club Tribute at 7pm. Memorial Service will be 2:00pm Thursday, both in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Interment at a later date.
