Arnold Lewis Boehner, born August 6, 1951 in East York, Ontario passed away suddenly on January 8, 2021. The only son of the late Elaine (Verge) of Hunts Point and Baine John Boehner of Broad Cove, Nova Scotia. He is survived by his sisters, Judi and Charlotte; nieces Angela (Jim Reid), Heather, Colleen (Elmar Gardezi), Leila and nephew Zamar. He is predeceased by his parents and younger sister, Sandra.

Although he grew up in Toronto, each summer was spent with family in the family home in Broad Cove. It was his paradise to spend time walking with his adopted dog friends. He loved his music- old country and rock and every day listened to selections from his vast collection.

Arnold was an avid reader, collector of facts and loved working with his hands. He was a hard worker, smart, precise, outspoken and respected by his co-workers.

He loved and was loved by his family. A friend to many, he was a simple man with simple needs. In his retirement, he moved to Nova Scotia which made him joyful to be in such a wonderful place and often he said he was at last in paradise every day. He will be missed.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, where on-line condolences may be made by visiting www.corkumfuneralhome.ca

The Creator blessed me with this life
and helped me find my way
He gave me trials to make me strong
and see the light of day
He gave me joy in later years
and helped me find my peace
He gave me strength to stay my path
until my last release
And now I walk another road
my spirit soars above
to join the others gone this way
to fill me with his love
I ride the wind I soar the skies
I’m blessed to be set free
Remember we will meet again
In time that’s meant to be
Be grateful for each waking day
Live well live strong live free
And hold me in your heart until
You walk this path with me.
