W. Wilson Richards, age 80 passed away in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, on Monday October 19, 2020. He was born in Petite Riviere and was the only child of the late Wallace M. and Erma (Conrad) Richards.

Wilson worked on the Great Lake Boats for 12 years before moving back to Halifax Regional Municipality where he worked for Dineen Construction. In 1989 he and Linda moved back to Petite Riviere and then to Bridgewater. He truly loved everything outdoors from fishing, gardening, boating to gold panning, and his many collections. He was an original member of the M.A.C.A, an avid reader and loved his lap dogs- especially Jasmine.

Wilson is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda (Himmelman) and many cousins.

There will be no visitation and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Westside United Church, Pentz, Wesley United Cemetery, Petite Riviere, Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, or a charity of your choice.
