Veinot (Coade) Blanche Catherine

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother

Blanche Catherine Coade Veinot at the age of 87 years with her family by her side. December 23/2019 at North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia. She was predeceased by her parents Reginald Coade and Mary Canning Coade; also her brothers Edward, Paul and John. She is survived by her children Jeannie – Toronto, Scott (Carrie) Cookville and Michael (Joy) Upper Branch. Grandchildren Jaime, Danielle, Joshua, Tyler and brother Vincent.

Blanche was born and raised in Devonshire West Caledonia, Queens County – she attended and graduated from the Sacred Heart Convent in Meteghan and also graduated from the Nova Scotia Teachers College. She taught school in the valley and several schools in Lunenburg County until her retirement. Spending her last years at North Queens Nursing Home. She loved everyone who worked at the home and she touched many people with her wonderful spirit and beautiful smile.

Family flowers only and memorial donations may be made to The Mental Health Association of Nova Scotia, North Queens Nursing Home staff fund or charity of your choice.

The family would like to send a heart-felt thank you to all the wonderful and caring staff at North Queens. Words cant express our gratitude for all your kindness and everything you have done over the years for Blanche.

Memorial service will be held January 11, 2020 at St. Jerome’s Roman Catholic Church West, Caledonia at 11 am. Interment will be held at a later date.
