Waterman, Rogers Cecil - Bridgewater. born September 30, 1926 passed away April 18, 2019. He was the son of Ralph Louis and Eva Sarah (Meisner) Waterman of Pleasant River, Queens County.  Rogers grew up on the family farm helping his father with the cows, pigs and oxen. Along with farm work, he was also a rural mail driver for twelve years while he continued working in the woods. He later gave up his mail route and went to work at Michelin where he worked for seventeen years. When he retired he went back to the woods to work and continued until he was eighty years old. He enjoyed cutting his own firewood and spending time at his camp which he had built by himself. Later he sold the farm and moved to Bridgewater where he continued to live until his passing. He was a member of the Pleasant River United Church and proudly held the position of Elder. Surviving are his long time companion Florence Uhlman, sister Beaulah Smith, nephews Ralph Smith, James Smith and Allan Waterman, all of Queens County, niece Cheryl Baker, Halifax County. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Louis Ralph Waterman, sister Aileen Himmelman. Celebration of life will be held 11:00am Friday in Trinity United Church, Pleasant River, Rev. Carol Smith Officiating, assisted by Rev. David Lutes. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Pleasant River. No flowers by request. Memorial Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
