VisZWICKER, David Paul – 75, Mahone Bay – died at Queens Manor, Liverpool on March 5, 2019. Born April 10, 1943 in Bathurst, New Brunswick to Henry and Lorena (Russell) Zwicker. David grew up in Pinehurst, Nova Scotia. Athletics was a major focus of his teenage and young adult life. David particularly enjoyed playing soccer, volleyball, basketball and hockey. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Dalhousie University in 1968. An outdoorsman at heart, David co-founded Eastern Geophysics Ltd. and embarked on a career in the field. When not working, David could be found coaching or supporting his daughter’s soccer team, hunting or fishing. After retirement, genealogy became a passion for David, particularly of the Zwicker family. Travelling and photography were also of great interest. David is survived by his wife, Angela Mary (Crouse), his son, Gregory David, daughter, Lesley Anne and sister, Donna Hunt, many nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Faye Carolyn (Veinot), sisters, Bertie and Diane. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4pm at the R.A. Corkum Funeral Home.
