Glenice Ellen Lohnes, 92 years of age of Upper Northfield passed away peacefully on Monday October 15, 2018 at South Shore Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.   She was born in Hartford, Connecticut April 9, 1926. The third child of the late Percy and Mamie (Eisenhauer) Veinot.   She leaves to mourn daughters Bessie Mae (Judy), Karen, son Kevin (Jane). Brothers Percy Jr. (Barbara), George (Glory),  Roy (Mercedes), Gerald (Elsa), sister Gloria. 4 grand-children, 11 great grand-children, 3 great-great grand-children, many nieces and nephews.    She was predeceased by her husband Asaph, brothers Robert, Wallace, Elmer, Dale, sisters Ferne and Arlene.    Glenice was a life long member of Upper Northfield United Church until it closed, then transferred to New West Pine United Church.   During her life she sang in the church choir and was involved in the Ladies Aid, Women's Institute and Rosedale Seniors Club.  An avid baker, loved treating everyone to her goodies and spending time with family and friends, especially playing cards.    No visitation by request, family flowers only. Donations to New West Pine United Church.
