Mary Arleen -76 of Newcombville passed away May 2, 2016 in Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg, surrounded by family. Born on November 22, 1939 in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of Elva (Romkey) Powers and the late Lloyd Powers. Surviving are her long time partner James Sperry; daughters Bonita (Paul) Seamone, Wanda (Wade) Crouse; son Stephen (Wanda) Wagner; sisters Joan (Hector) Getson, Sharon (Ronald) Nauss; brother Lloyd "Sonny" Powers; several nieces and nephews; grandchildren Joey and Randy Seamone, Jillian and Jonathon Wagner, April Thompson; great-grandchildren Carter and Dakota Thompson. She was predeceased by her husband Boyd; brother Arnold; sister-in-law Glenda Powers; grandparents James and Mary Romkey, Bill and Lottie Powers. Mary retired from Michelin Tire Plant to enjoy watching Nascar races, the loons and frogs at the Lake Peter cabin; baking (especially wacky cakes); gardening, tending her pets and feeding the birds. Mary’s family was a priority in life and she will be greatly missed. For many years she enjoyed the company of the Wagner family. Special thanks to Gary and Rosalie for their friendship. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 am Friday in R. A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Neil McEwen officiating.
