MAILMAN,

Jamie David  It is with great sadness that the family of Jamie David Mailman of Coquitlam, BC (formerly of Bridgewater, NS) announces that he died suddenly at home on November 20, 2015 at age 42.  The son of David and Pauline (Connors) Mailman, Jamie was born in Halifax, NS and raised in Bridgewater, NS.  An Honors graduate of Bridgewater High School, he was an all-around athlete in his youth who played baseball, basketball, tennis, curling, and golf.  After graduation, Jamie moved out west.  He initially lived in Lake Louise, AB before settling in Coquitlam, BC.  He worked in the roofing and construction industry throughout his time in BC.  Jamie was a loving son, brother, and uncle, and a loyal friend.  He is survived by his parents; his older sister, Jodi Mailman, of Mahone Bay, NS; his twin sister, Jill (Andrew) Mutch, of Fall River, NS; and his nieces, Elizabeth (Ellie), Katherine and Alexandria Mutch.  Jamie was predeceased by both his paternal grandparents (Murray and Winifred (Corkum) Mailman) and his maternal grandparents (Edward and Flora (Sanford) Connors).  A funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bridgewater, NS on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Jensen officiating.  A private family internment to follow.   Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Mental Health Association of Nova Scotia, SHAID Animal Shelter or the Charity of your choice.
